Led by Natalie Gulliver, Renée Rodenkirchen and Hallie Gould, who have known each other since the good old days; each spent the first portions of their careers honing their respective skills in design, film, photography and brand strategy.

Renée Rodenkirchen

Lead Director / Photographer

With a keen eye and clear vision, Renée’s experience in photography, film, and media has allowed her to hone a distinct view and playful aesthetic, making for work that stands out and pushes a brand forward.

Career highlights: Through working at Coveteur and with internationally recognized publications and brands, Renée has had the pleasure of capturing talent such as Oprah, Common, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maggie Gyllenhall, Karli Kloss, Daria Werbowy, Manolo Blahnik and Leon Bridges to name a few. And has worked with global brands such as, CHANEL, Louis Vuitton, W Hotels, Mercedes, Sephora, and many others.

Natalie  Gulliver

Executive Producer / Creative Director

Natalie’s ability to understand a brand and what makes it tick is her finest quality. Her GSD attitude always results in a fun and creative partnership with a wildly successful outcome. Natalie has a background in Graphic Design and her understanding of the Adobe Suite is an asset when collaborating with other creatives.

Career highlights: Creating unique & identifiable brand identities clients such as: The Seawolf, Studio B Web series, Specialty Coffee Association and an expansive collection of letterpress stationary.

Halile Gould

Executive Producer / Client Services

With a background in brand strategy, communications and project management, Hallie’s M.O. is to ensure that each project is on brand, on time & on budget.


Career highlights: Director of Marketing for Bite Beauty (LVMH) and leading global client projects with Dove, Holt Renfrew, Harvard & Sonos while at Bruce Mau Design and Capital C Communications.

The Seawolf

The Seawolf follows eight world renowned surfers on a two-year journey,
as they travel to the furthest corners of the globe in search of untapped cold-water waves.

Poolhouse was enlisted to create the film’s brand identity, titles, promotional collateral and album art for the film, as well as design and develop the website. Poolhouse then produced and promoted North American, European and Australian festival & public screenings over the course of 2018. The Seawolf won best cinematography at the London Surf Film Festival.

Amber mark x w hotel – can you hear me (music video)

For the launch of W Hotel’s record label, Director Renée Rodenkirchen was asked to develop the creative concept and direct the premier video for their label, featuring artist Amber Mark. Additionally, Poolhouse further defined the distinct aesthetic of the video by providing custom costume and set design.

Poolhouse was asked to create a brand identity, titles, social media direction and promotional materials for Studio B, a Web Series starring members of the MainStage cast of Second City Chicago and a variety of all-star Chicago Comedy Alumni.

Reebok // Speed TR Shoe Release

For the launch of the new Speed TR shoe from Reebok, Poolhouse was hired to conceptualize, direct and produce a digital campaign featuring four fitness influencers. This campaign included 4 x :20 social media videos and one :60 video for Reebok’s website.
